Strategic Advisory Council 2022
There has been a significant increase in the evidence base on the socioeconomic situation of those forcibly displaced and their host communities over the past decade. With the number of forcibly displaced now surpassing 100 million and with the most recent displacement crisis following the war in Ukraine, it has become ever more important to distill insights and lessons from displacement contexts around the world, for improved and evidence-driven responses.
The Joint Data Center is developing its Knowledge Agenda with the aim to facilitate the creation, dissemination and operationalization of knowledge products on forced displacement. The Agenda envisions several knowledge-related activities to be developed in collaboration with numerous partners.
The Center held it’s Strategic Advisory Council on September 1st, 2022. The event was an opportunity for all interested stakeholders to provide feedback and suggestions to strategically inform the Agenda in its early stages.
