JDC Seminar on Labor Market Interventions

The JDC, in March 2020, held a seminar on labor market interventions for refugee integration with Martin Ravallion, Edmond D. Villani Professor of Economics, Georgetown University. The seminar titled “A Market for Work Permits” discussed Professor Ravallion’s recent work on international migration and policy ideas to address labor market inefficiencies affecting refugees and forcibly displaced. Professor Ravallion also discussed the lack of right to work for the forcibly displaced persons and interventions needed for refugee integration. Click on the link below for the seminar recording.
