Established in 2019 as a collaboration between the World Bank Group and UNHCR, the Joint Data Center on Forced Displacement (JDC) aims to enhance the availability and accessibility of high-quality socioeconomic data and evidence on forced displacement. As part of its commitment to learning and accountability, the JDC commissioned an independent entity, KPMG, to conduct a mid-term review (MTR) in 2022. The MTR assessed the JDC’s mission and objectives, as well as the effectiveness of its organizational structure and business model, focusing on strategic relevance, alignment with other global efforts, and operational efficiency. The MTR presents key findings and makes recommendations for the second mandate of the JDC.
JDC’s Management welcomed KPMG’s Report. Find our response to the findings and recommendations here.
